Republic Day celebrations at JSS Educational Institution in Suttur
Suttur, January 26, 2022: The 73 rd Republic Day celebrations were held
at the JSS Educational Institutions in Suttur in a simple manner.

In his address, Sri D.M. Mahesh, Caretaker, Basveshwara Students
Hostel expressed his view that though the religion, caste, and language
differ between persons and state in our country, the feelings are the
same. “The Republic Day is celebrated to show the world that all of us
are Indians and to show our strength. In our country, it has been a
tradition to bestow titles, like the
Padmavibhushan, Padmabhushan,
Padmashri, Paramvirchakra to the achievers and bravery awards to
children, on Republic Day in Delhi. Ours is a democratic country, and
hence citizens are the rulers. We are known for peace, amiability, and
brotherhood. Law is the same for all of us in our constitution. A real
patriot is he who lives and strives for the motherland,” he said.
Sri G.L. Tripurantaka, Coordinating Officer, JSS Educational Institutions,
presided over the program.
Heads of various departments, including Sri Sampath, Smt. H.V. Divya,
Dr. H.M. Mahesh, Sri S. Shivaswamy, Sri G. Shivamallu, Smt. C.P.
Nirmala, Sri B.M. Siddappa, Sri G.M. Shadakshari, and Smt. P. Susheela
and others participated in the program.
The school students presented an invocation. Kum. H.M. Savitha
welcomed the guests and gathering, and Smt. B. Vedvathi gave a vote of
thanks. Smt. G.S. Jagadambika mastered the program.

Inauguration of Oxygen generator and liquid medical oxygen plant, Release of JSS Shravana Mitra App, the release of COVID- 19 Compendium was held on 26th Dec 2021 at Sri Rajendra Centenary Auditorium. The inauguration was done by Hon’ble Chief Minister of Karnataka Sri Basavaraj S Bommai in the divine presence of His Holiness Jagadguru Sri Shivaratri Deshikendra Mahaswamiji. Sri. K. Sudhakar, Minister for Health and Family Welfare, & Medical Education, JSS Shravana Mitra App and COVID-19 Compendium. Sri. S.A. Ramdas presided over the event. Sri. Pratap Simha, MP, Sri. GT Devegowda, MLA & Former Minister, Sri. Tanveer Sait, MLA& Former and others attended the event.

Recently, Dr Manjula Pardal (New Zealand) and Mrs MeghashreeKaishetty (United States) contributed a sum of Rs. 150,000 each to the Children Free Education Fund in the memory of their beloved father Dr K Chandrashekar.
